Gallery Show Photos

As noted in the previous entry I've been given the chance to display my work in my own little gallery show in the Entertainment Arts department hall at the College for Creative Studies for the next couple of weeks. In addition to a couple dozen images (including frame-by frame clean-up animation sequences) there are two reels playing on a digital tv, one for animation, one for illustration and concepts. Here's a couple of photos of the setup.

Prints of various illustrations.

Part of an animated sequence, frame-by-frame.

The majority of the images, including the digital display.

Last and most certainly least, my haggard, sleep-deprived bum, with the entire set-up. Photo snapped by my professor, Chris Carden.

Cheers,
Mel

I keep passing your work in the hallway at CCS and kind of having to stifle my glee over how much I love it, so I did a little bit of googling to see if you had a blog or something. Your work is great! I love how much energy you incorporate into your character designs, it's fantastic. Good luck with graduation!

Mwahahaha!! Your plan to take over the wall is almost complete I see. Very cool stuff Mel, you've succeeded in making me late for class on a few occasions. :)
